The Huawei P Smart 2021 is being labelled as Huawei’s “best entry-level” phone yet and it finally arrives in South Africa on 7 November, which just so happens to be tomorrow. We’ve got a breakdown of what you can expect from the P Smart 2021 as well as pricing and availability if you’re so tempted to take a leap into Huawei’s ecosystem.
What can you expect to find inside the Huawei P Smart 2021? Well, let’s start with the 5,000mAh battery which is sure to last the average user (we’re talking to 80% of you folks reading) a good full day on a single charge. According to some numbers pulled from the press release, the device will be able to support “38 hours of continuous 4G calls, 23 hours of video playback (and) 12 hours of 4G internet browsing”. We’ll be sure to test those stats as soon as we get our hands on the device but it sounds pretty impressive.

It also comes with a quad AI camera that includes an “ultra-wide-angle camera, a macro camera and a depth camera” alongside your main lens. We’ll be sure to properly test it out when we get our hands on it because Huawei has included some fantastic cameras on the flagship devices. Hopefully the same is true for the P Smart 2021.
So if you’re looking at picking up Huawei P Smart 2021 you’re looking at paying R6,000 and you can grab it from the Huawei store (from 9 November), VDC or Cell C. Purchasing the device also nets you a 10 000 mAh power bank, 15GB of cloud storage and a 100-day screen care guarantee.
