Microsoft has brought new Azure datacentres to South Africa, based in Cape Town and Johannesburg. The datacentres are the company’s “…first enterprise-grade datacenters in Africa”, and will be instrumental in connecting the country (and the continent) with Microsoft’s services.

Prefacing Mobile World Congress this week, Microsoft has unveiled the HoloLens 2, a next-gen ‘mixed reality’ headset that, according to its makers, is more immersive and comfortable than the original.

Microsoft’s HoloLens is an implementation that we’ve been impressed with from the start, combining the best bits of a full-fat VR system with what Google Glass was supposed to be.
