Gamescom 2021 – here’s what to expect and how to watch it

Gamescom

Gamescom 2021 is nearly upon us, and as with pretty much every event of its kind, it will also be an online-only event. We’re sure the show floor and everything on it will be sorely missed. But if an online event this year means we can have in-person events next year, we’re all for it. The upside is that now you don’t have to wear pants while you watch.

What you can look forward to

You can look forward to seeing the latest news, trailers, reveals and announcements from a few of the usual names. Xbox, Bethesda, Activision and EA will be there, as well as some smaller indie developers like Akupara Games, Draw Distance and Numskull Games.

As for what each developer will be revealing, well, you’ll have to wait for the event. That’s the whole point. The only thing we know for sure is that we’ll get more info on Dying Light 2 in the Dying 2 Know Gamescom Edition section. If you missed the two previous episodes or just want to refresh your memory then check this out.

You can head over to twitch.tv/gamescom to watch there. It will also be streamed by the Game Awards channel on YouTube if you’d prefer that.

Mark your calendars, Gamescom is nearly here

The day to day schedule will look a little something like this:

Tuesday, 24 August

Wednesday, 25th August

Thursday, 26th August

Friday, 27th August
