The iPhone 12 could ship with a 1TB storage
Realistically, how many memes are you actually storing on your phone? Most smartphones come with around 128GB of storage space and while you could upgrade to a version that has 512GB, you probably don’t need much else. If you’re actively amassing a collection of Netflix downloads, then maybe you should hold out that the rumours around the iPhone 13 are true. As reported by 9to5Mac, Apple’s next smartphone (which will probably launch later this year) will feature a model with 1TB of storage.
The thought of an iPhone Max Pro coming with 1TB hard drive is enough to make any phone enthusiast sweat. Firstly, that’s just a terrifying amount of storage for a smartphone and secondly, can you imagine how much that would cost? 512GB versions of the iPhone Pro Max exist and those costs way more money than anyone in their right mind would spend; what happens when you double that storage? The mind reels at such a thought.

Netflix is producing a Terminator anime
Anime is big business right now as production companies fall over themselves to convert whatever successful and popular license they own into the Japan-centric animation style. The Terminator universe is one such property that’s about to make the leap to 2D animation and from the sounds of things, Netflix is going all-in on this latest venture. The show will be produced by Mattson Tomlin, who recently just co-wrote the upcoming The Batman movie starring Robert Pattinson. Tomlin said in a statement that he, “believe(s) in taking big swings and going for the heart. I’m honored that Netflix and Skydance have given me the opportunity to approach Terminator in a way that breaks conventions, subverts expectations and has real guts.”
John Derderian, Netflix’s Vice President of Japan & Anime said, “Terminator is one of the most iconic sci-fi stories ever created—and has only grown more relevant to our world over time. The new animated series will explore this universe in a way that has never been done before.” No further details have been revealed, meaning that this project is still in very early production.
One can only hope that it’ll actually be a decent Terminator story. Those have been rather sparse in recent years.

E3 2021’s live event has reportedly been cancelled
If you’re a video game enthusiast, you no doubt have the dates for E3 scribbled onto your calendar. The biggest convention of gamers, developer and publishers has grown to an enormous extent but the numbers it draws aren’t exactly ideal for a global pandemic. It’s the reason that E3 2020 was shifted to a digital event and from the sounds of things, E3 2021 will be similar. According to the Board of Los Angeles Convention and Tourism Development Commission, the live event for E3 2021 has been classified as a “cancelled live event”.
Which doesn’t mean that E3 itself has been cancelled, just that the live show has been given the axe. It’ll most likely continue on as a digital event, just like everything else these days. The live show for E3 was meant to take place between June 15 – 17 according to pitch documents sent to publishers but who knows when the digital edition could take place? The city board has claimed it’s also working on acquiring the license to host E3 in both 2022 and 2023.

Facebook’s launched new Bars is about encouraging novice rappers
You ever play SingStar back on the PS2? Some developers over at Facebook clearly did and they’re using that nostalgia to make Bars. Users will be provided with a beat by the app which they’ll then be able to rap over. You’re limited to 60-second long videos of you spitting fire which can then be uploaded to a feed of videos from friends and videos alike. Because this is a kind of social media you’ll be able to “like” other’s raps by marking them as “fire”. Hell, there’s even an AutoTune feature as well as a suite of other editing tools to take your rap game to the next level.
It seems like a silly idea but it’s also rather robust from the looks of things. You can even set what kind of beat speed you want as well as be provided some words to “Freestyle” with. The app is currently in closed beta but should hopefully open up to the masses rather soon. We could see Bars actually taking off given how many people fancy themselves as quick lyricists but it’s always so tricky to predict with these social media platforms.
