TomTom smartening up its GPS range with the TomTom Go Premium

Who needs a GPS in this day and age? Not many folks, really. Just about everyone has a smartphone and smartphones have Google Maps. And other options. A standalone GPS doesn't make a whole lot of sense, except in very specific cases. TomTom disagrees, though, and to that end it's come up with something a little different: The TomTom Go Premium.

Interior design of the future will seem like magic

Imagine a house where the walls change colour depending on your mood, or your tablecloth changes shape when you’re having a dinner party. A house where every item, from your cushions to your lampshades, interact with you. This might sound like something out of Harry Potter, but such magic interior design could become a real part of our lives in the near future.

Recently, it debuted the Amazon Echo Look, promising to make users more stylish. All of these smart devices are equipp...[Read More]

Smart windows could combine solar panels and TVs too

You turn. “Welcome,” you say. “Here is the video I wanted to show you.” At the press of a button, the view vanishes and the windows transform into a high-definition TV screen. No, your friend isn’t James Bond, and you aren’t the next Q. Still, even as you watch the video, your window-TV ...[Read More]
