Apple’s Apple TV announcement was almost a disappointment, but then it went ahead and brought out the big guns by announcing Apple TV Channels and Apple TV+.
Samsung’s folding smartphone, the Galaxy Fold, has prompted more than a little talk. Most of this has been about the phone’s so-called crease, the central area of the phone where the actual display bends. The company has been going to great lengths to conceal the line down the middle of the screen. When the phone was revealed in February this year, Samsung didn’t actually allow folks to handle it. Okay, okay, so there’s hasn’t any sort of backlash against this new announcement but we had to take a shot at Activision after what happened during the announcement of Diablo Immortal. Acti has revealed Call of Duty Mobile, a smartphone-focused title designed to take on the likes of PUBG and Fortnite on Android and iOS. Because if those folks can release successful smartphone shooters, so can Activision. Right?

Earlier this year we heard that Lenovo-owned Motorola is taking another crack at their iconic Razr phone, only this time it is going to be a (very expensive) foldable device. Pricing over R20k? We were hoping that the device would justify the cost beyond just being an entry in the burgeoning folding phone wars but… yeah.
Prior to last night’s announcement, there have only ever been two Halo games released on the PC. That’d be Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2. Everything else after that was launched on Microsoft’s Xbox consoles exclusively. Until now. Microsoft has announced that PC gamers will be getting their twitchy trigger fingers on Halo: The Master Chief Collection shortly. What’s more, it’ll be available via Steam.
