Take your obsession to the next level with the hologram-featuring Assassin’s Creed Symphony

The Assassin’s Creed series has been running, in multiple formats, since 2007. Twelve years is a long time to be doing anything and yet, Ubisoft have managed to find ways to keep players and fans engaged. Whether it’s multiple platforms and game types, comic books and graphic novels, and even motion pictures, there’s a lot of stuff out there for fans. And now there’s one more: Assassin’s Creed Symphony.

Which is exactly what it says on the tin. It’s a symphony orchestra, playing selections from many, many years of Assassin’s Creed soundtracks. Of course, it’s not just musicians. There’s a range of footage going with the performance, as well as something a little more… techy.

    Nothing is true…

The teaser trailer (below) gives us some hints of the presentation to come. It looks as though there’s a hologram or four on the way featuring members of the Isu, or First Civilisation, for those of you who know your AC lore. What the full event will look like… that’s something we’re going to have to wait to see. Seeing holographic versions of Ezio Auditore or Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad stride around on stage would certainly be something to remember.

Want to attend? There’s a spot of travel in your future then, mon ami. The Assassin’s Creed Symphony is going to be doing the rounds this year, starting in Los Angeles in June before finishing up in Zurich in November. South Africa isn’t on the list at all, so you’re going to have to head to a North American, Canadian, or European date instead. If, that is, you can get your hands on tickets. Plane or otherwise. The tour dates announced so far are listed below.

Los Angeles – Dolby Theater, June 11, 2019
Paris – Palais des Congrès, June 29, 2019

Dusseldorf – Mitsubishi Electric Halle, October 4, 2019
    London – Eventim Apollo, Oct 5, 2019
Milan –Teatro Degli Arcimboldi, Oct 6, 2019
