I completed a Masters Degree just so someone might take my opinions seriously one day. Also writes about video games over at Critical Hit.

Who’s the coolest person you can think of? Odds are, you probably landed on Paul Rudd. The man who seemingly doesn’t age is just really… cool, you know? He’s helped defeat Thanos, been in loads of corny rom-com movies and even helped Ron Burgandy be the best anchorman he could possibly be. All I’m saying is that there are few celebrities as radical as Paul Rudd. He also just seems like genuinely cool human being, one that’s been able to stay relatively down to earth despite his fame and success. Now, he’s trying to leverage his coolness to help spread…

Having recently driven in an EV car for the first time, I now understand the hype. The torque, the silence the general smugness of saving the planet and showing off how rich you are to every person that stops alongside you at a red light? Priceless. Admittedly, it was only a test drive so I didn’t get all of those feelings but I’ve got a vague idea. Now how does one take those feelings and amplify them even further? How do you make an even bigger scene? You get an electric Hummer and the rest is taken care of. General Motors,…

What’s better than Wi-Fi? Now, the answer might surprise you. You might be saying something silly like the smell of dust when its about to rain or being greeted by your favourite pet when you get home from a long day of work. Sure, both of those things are nice but they’re not better than Wi-Fi. Grow up, we all know the only thing that actually surpasses a constant and stable internet connection is when that service is free. It’s rare to come across such a magnificent service yet when you’re able to, you should seek it out and never let it…

There are some nuggets of news you just hope aren’t true, you know? Sure, in a year plagued by nearly every conceivable negative headline possible, the news that Sony might be reducing the number of PlayStation 5 units doesn’t really feel all that significant yet we have to hold on to whatever hope we can, right? With the race into the next generation nearing its end, Sony’s still got a fair amount it needs to share with potential users, a problem it’s seemingly going to rectify this Wednesday with a new digital showcase. Yet while pricing might only be announced…

Standing outside Envisioneers’ warehouse on a grey Tuesday afternoon, I admit that I was unsure of what to expect from the company. See, I was told to check them out because they were doing all kinds of cool stuff and, as is evident by the name on both our website and magazine, that’s basically what we’re all about. Having said that, as someone who’s rather uninformed on the processes of designing and manufacturing products, I wasn’t sure whether I’d be walking into an office filled with people crunching numbers at computers or a warehouse stuffed to the brim with wooden…

The final stretch is here, folks! We’re entering the last leg of the next-gen console race and things are looking more heated than ever. With Microsoft getting out in front of Sony in the last week, announcing the price of the Xbox Series S and Series X as well as establishing the finish line on 10 November, the ball has now landed in the lap of Sony and its PlayStation 5. What kind of race involves balls being thrown back and forth? A complicated one that involves plenty of mixed metaphors. Not taking the news of Xbox pricing lying down,…

The internet as a collective community was built on the foundation of two things: Stealing music and sharing funny pictures of animals. The great commonality shared by all people, I doubt there’s a single person who doesn’t enjoy perusing a gallery of hilarious animal pictures. It’s one of the few things people online have managed to leave uncorrupted which I realise is a very sheltered, naive belief but just let me have this okay? You also might be wondering why Stuff Magazine, an outlet dedicated to cool stuff, is writing up a story about the annual Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards. It’s…

The end of the road is looming for both Sony and Microsoft and the race is still hotly contested. With both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X launches looming in the distance, growing closer by the day, both companies are doing their the best to pitch their console as the one consumers should choose. In an ideal world, we wouldn’t have to choose as both consoles hold intrinsic value of their own and believing in some kind of “Console War” is just feeding into corporate propaganda to create impassioned and dedicated fanbases so don’t believe their lies, whoever they…

Skateboarding is real scary. I should know, I just started learning and I’ve discovered that once you get past the initial terror the next obstacle is just how tough it can be to stay on the board. That’s part of the fun I suppose, but you know what also sounds like a load of fun? A full on suspension system and an electric motor strapped onto the actual board! Sure, you won’t be able to pop sick kick flips or ollie over fire hydrants but you might actually be able to travel down South African roads on an electric skateboard…

It’s a testament to how successful and highly regarding Call of Duty’s multiplayer is that it requires a separate trailer all for itself. While the official announcement and reveal of Black Ops Cold War dropped a few weeks ago, back then we only had a small snippet of information to go on with regards to the game’s multiplayer. Following last night, we now have a better idea of what we can expect from the annual shooter franchise’s multiplayer and it looks like more of the same…but that’s not necessarily a bad thing when it still looks like so much fun!…
