Leaks can come from some strange places, especially if you’re Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G has turned up yet again, this time on Samsung Macedonia’s website. Did you know Samsung had a Macedonian website?
It’s not the device itself, so the incoming specs aren’t entirely confirmed. Yet. The leak shows a flip cover for the upcoming mid-range smartphone but it also includes an official look at the device itself. Based on that, the renders seen last year were accurate so there aren’t any visual surprises coming.
This is the Galaxy A54
We’ve grabbed an image (above) in case Samsung disappears its website leak before its (apparently) pending launch. Another website, GizmoChina, claims to have official stats for the device as well as an Indian launch date but it doesn’t show its work. Still, apparently, the A54 will launch in India on 16 March — pretty close to the predicted launch of 15 March.
If, as seems likely, the Galaxy A54 shows up next week, it’ll supposedly feature a 6.4in 120Hz display (though we suspect this is an error). An Exynos 1380 processor will be in the device, along with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. India, specifically, won’t be getting the Galaxy A34 but we reckon South Africa will make the list.
The A54 will feature (again, according to rumour) a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide, a 5MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. A 5,000mAh battery and an IP67 rating are also expected to be along for the ride. We should know more about a local launch a little later this month.
