Flying books? Uber Eats will now deliver reading material from Exclusive Books

Tired of re-reading the same books over and over again? The lockdown blues have luckily come to an end. Thanks to less stringent restrictions during Level 4, South Africans can once again order food for delivery. In an unexpected move, we can now also order best-selling books for delivery thanks to Exclusive Books and Uber Eats’ new partnership.

“Feed your boredom, order now from your door-to-door bookstore,” Exclusive Books announced in a press release. The book store franchise has nominated selected branches across South Africa that will deliver to a 5km radius around each.

For now, residents near the following stores will be able to order their favourite reading material for delivery:

Johannesburg

Pretoria

Cape Town

KwaZulu-Natal

Port Elizabeth

Bloemfontein

All you have to do is find a participating Exclusive Books store on the Uber Eats app and order for delivery. For the month of May, delivery is also free if you remember to use the promo code UNLTDZA. So remember to punch that in before paying.

Exclusive Books Fanatics will still have the opportunity to earn Fanatics points while using the delivery method. “Simply type your Fanatics number in the comments section when placing your order,” Exclusive Books explains.

Because of the current COVID-19 situation, Uber Eats encourages no-contact delivery. You can choose this option by selecting “Leave at door” when you check out on the app. Easy, right?
