Apple’s annual keynote will be streamed on Twitter for the first time

Okay Apple, when we said that some folks might like to watch the 2018 iPhone unveiling on social media yesterday, we were only kidding. But Apple, it seems, isn’t. For the first time ever, Apple’s entire keynote presentation will be streamed to Twitter — so now you won’t even have to leave your favoured timeline in order to keep up with Apple’s plans for the next few months.

Getting access to the Twitter stream is easy enough, if you manage to spot the Apple ad (which is all that the @Apple account tweets, apparently), you just have to ‘Like’ or perhaps ‘♥’ the tweet in order for Apple to serve you updates.

We’ve copied the tweet in question above. It looks as though the live-stream may just be conducted through this tweet specifically, in the area that now plays host to a golden apple GIF. So, technically, you can watch it on social media and Stuff at the same time, if you want to. Or in the Twitter app on practically any device you own, up to and possibly including a smart fridge. If you do that last one, we want video footage. Please.
