Samsung has put their Gear Fit smartwatch into a fitness and overall real-world setting in a new television commercial that features a person using the device while jogging, at the office and on an evening out.
Overall the fitness aspects have been emphasised, with the heart-rate monitor and pedometer in evidence while Samsung has also taken the opportunity to show off the fact that the Gear Fit will be water resistant.
Also given an overview are the notifications, in which we can see how incoming calls will look on the handset as well as how calls can be rejected. Presumably other notifications can similarly be interacted with by swiping the curved touchscreen.
Samsung’s promotional spot for the fitness smartwatch isn’t the best look at the device we’ll have but it’ll have to do until we can get our hands on the Gear Fit for ourselves. Interaction looks smooth and without any hassles here but it would in a TV ad.
