Man, these product tie-ins are getting complicated. Last week Microsoft teased a throwback to its initial Windows operation system, Windows 1.0. At the time, we had no idea why all the time travel. Now, we know. It was indeed a tie-in with Stranger Things Season 3, which released last week on that one holiday Americans are always surprised the rest of the world doesn’t celebrate.

So you’re the sort of person who spoils your kid, are you? Unless your toddler is styling around in their very own (electric) McLaren 720S, you’re probably not doing it right. The auto-maker has come out with a scaled down version of its 720S supercar specifically for kids. It’s not quite a supercar that shrank in the wash, however. The McLaren 720S Ride-On, to give it its full title, just looks like one.

What a time to be alive. Not only are we living in the future, it seems we’re also travelling back in time. You know, like tachyons. Why all the Doc Brown talk? Well, Microsoft’s teasing a little something called Windows 1.0. It seems to be be an obvious reference to Windows 10, based on the retro blue logo for the operating system. We always knew this day would come. The skies aflame, the raiders bursting through the barricades. We tried our best to stop them but Samsung’s releasing another Galaxy Note. And the official day has been set, for 7 August this year. Just as the prophecies foretold. If you count several leakers as prophets, that is. Word on the street has long had Samsung’s next Unpacked event taking place on 7 August this year, and that word has since become law. Samsung’s media invites have been sent and the Galaxy Note 10 will have its day in the sun next month…
