It’s no big secret that Samsung’s Galaxy S26 is right around the corner. The South Korean outfit has carved out an early Q1 launch for its flagship devices for years now, and fresh leaks from Evan Blass on X tell us that it’s happening all over again — though with a couple of distinct changes. For one thing, it’s happening in February.
Samsung’s got a lot to unpack, here

Well, the company’s first Unpacked event of the year is taking place in February, anyway, as opposed to the late January date the company has grown fond of in recent years. That means the official rollout of the Galaxy S26 family (and the Galaxy Buds 4, if the rumours are to be believed) will follow shortly after Unpacked.
Enough suspense. Blass has leaked what appears to be the official Unpacked invite from Samsung in a post on X. If the leak is true (which is likely, considering his track record), then viewers will be tuning in to the event on Wednesday, 25 February. If it’s anything like last year’s show, it’s liable to kick off at 20h00 SAST once again.
Judging by the invite, Samsung’s ditched the typical teaser format that highlights just how thin the new batch of phones are or something similar, and instead puts Galaxy AI front and centre. We expect to see some new functionality from Samsung’s new take on the technology — and whether it’ll be free for everyone or not.
