HUAWEI has expanded its monthly Service Day programme in South Africa, introducing a wider range of maintenance and repair benefits across its product portfolio. The upgraded global programme carries the theme “We Care, Your Care” and now extends beyond smartphones to include wearables, tablets, audio products and PCs, giving customers more ways to care for their devices.
Held on the final Thursday, Friday and Saturday of every month, HUAWEI Service Day offers South African customers access to selected complimentary maintenance services, waived labour charges on qualifying repairs and discounts on service products. Customers can simply visit a participating HUAWEI Customer Service Centre during the monthly three-day event, with no online booking required.
South African consumers rely on multiple connected devices for work, communication, entertainment and everyday activities, but most people consider after-sales service only when a device develops a problem. HUAWEI Service Day aims to make routine maintenance and professional support more accessible, so customers can care for the technology they already own rather than waiting until something goes wrong.
More care for more devices
For smartphone and wearable users, the programme includes complimentary screen protectors to help protect displays from the scratches and marks that come with everyday use. Tablet and audio product owners can also benefit from HUAWEI’s Cleaning & Refresh services, with tablet maintenance now included in the upgraded programme. PC users, meanwhile, can use the System Renewal service to help maintain their devices.
For customers whose devices need repairs, HUAWEI Service Day waives labour charges on qualifying repairs, helping reduce the overall cost of getting devices back into working order.
These benefits make HUAWEI Service Day an opportunity to address everyday maintenance needs and repairs, whether that means fitting a new screen protector, having a device professionally cleaned, or seeking help with a more significant technical issue.
Looking after the technology you already own
Maintaining the devices we use every day offers considerable value. Smartphones hold our photographs, messages, and personal information, while tablets, laptops, and wearables have become part of how we work, communicate, exercise, and manage our daily routines.
Through its official service centres, HUAWEI gives customers access to trained service professionals, appropriate maintenance procedures and genuine replacement parts for eligible repairs. The monthly programme also makes it easier for customers to plan routine device care without waiting for a problem to develop.
HUAWEI Service Day has been running since 2022 and has continued to expand internationally. By June 2026, the programme had reached 30 countries and regions, serving more than 987,000 consumers. The latest expansion reflects HUAWEI’s commitment to supporting customers throughout their devices’ lifecycles, with after-sales care extending well beyond the initial purchase.
