Cell C’s LTE prepaid bundles have been revamped

Cell C’s Home Connecta Flexi prepaid LTE bundles launched back in 2021, offering users a cheaper alternative to fixed-line broadband. The mobile network has now implemented a bundle reshuffle, offering mobile data for lower prices.

The mobile service provider has dropped a few of its previously offered bundles and replaced them with other offerings. It has opted to replace its 5GB + 5GB package (R60) with a 6GB + 6GB bundle at R90. Similarly, the 50GB + 50GB (R200) bundle has been replaced with a 40GB + 40GB (R190) bundle. 

In terms of price reduction, the company’s 25GB + 25GB bundle has fallen from R180 to R170. All of these bundles are valid for a total of 30 days. But there’s one offering, the 2GB + 2GB, which only lasts for 14 days. 

“We realised that some of our customers needed a more affordable entry point into Home Connecta Flexi, while others needed slightly more data each month,” says Cell C chief commercial officer, Simo Mkhize.

“We have created bundles to cater for these needs while still remaining the most competitively priced in the broadband category,” Mkhize says.
