Last month SamMobile obtained a Bluetooth SIG certification revealing that Samsung was working on two new laptops: The Galaxy Book Pro, and the Galaxy Book Pro 360. Now they’ve acquired new information confirming some of the laptops’ specs.
Both laptops will be available with either 13.5in or 16.5in OLED screens, which rules out the possibility of them being fitted with Samsung’s new 14in OLED displays. Both will also be compatible with the newest version of S Pen, which came out alongside the Galaxy S21. You’ll be able to grab either laptop with an intel i5 or i7 processor, and, because everything needs 5G these days, the Pro 360 will be available in a 5G model.
Samsung Speculations
Now, it hasn’t been confirmed yet, but based on the name there’s speculation that the Pro 360 might have a 360-degree hinge, allowing it to be folded all the way around and used as a sort of tablet, like the Galaxy Book Flex which came out last year.
Dubbed “Pro”, these will surely be high-end laptops. Pricey, but for good reason. The pair of machines will join a significant line of other laptops released by Samsung this year, including the Galaxy Book Flex 2 5G and the Notebook Plus 2. A release date hasn’t been revealed yet, but SamMobile that most of the certifications Samsung needs have been picked up, which suggests that the laptops’ launch could be relatively soon.
