Watch the first 19 James Bond films on YouTube for free

When you have a franchise as long and storied as Jame Bond’s, you might as well share it with the universe, right? That’s MGM’s plan, as it has joined forces with YouTube to stream the first nineteen James Bond movies on the video-sharing platform completely free of charge. Something like this would have been perfect for the middle of Level 5 Lockdown but it’s still cool that it’s actually happening at all. Even better considering No Time To Die is still hanging in limbo, so all those James Bond fans who somehow haven’t bought all the DVDs can satiate their needs.

Now, you might not be able to watch the more recent James Bond movies, the ones starring that stone-faced looker Daniel Craig but you’re spoilt for choice otherwise. YouTube selection will include all of the late Sir Sean Connery’s films, the excellent Roger Moore’s outing as the character, the devilish Pierce Brosnan’s films and even those weird Bond movies where MGM thought it was a good idea to cast Timothy Dalton and George Lazenby. You can probably skip those.

James Bond

Tube. YouTube.

So, for those of you wanting a comprehensive list of all the James Bond movies now on YouTube, we have you covered:

We have no idea how long all these movies will be available to stream on YouTube but given how many of them there are, we have to imagine it’ll be a good month or so. We also have no idea what prompted MGM and YouTube to make the deal. It might have something to do with Sir Sean Connery’s recent passing but that’s just speculation on our behalf.

Unfortunately for folks in South Africa, the films aren’t organically available in the country but that doesn’t mean you can’t access them. Just check out our list of recommended VPNs to access the regions where it is available and you’re all set to go.
