Find out who our Cubot smartphone winners are – it could be you (if you entered)

It’s a universal truth that if you didn’t enter a competition or a lottery, and you win, then someone’s trying to scam you. And, obviously, the scam works otherwise it would have gone away. So if you didn’t enter this giveaway, which sees two Cubot smartphones — the Cubot P30 and the Cubot King Kong Mini — being given to new homes this Friday, you are right to be suspicious.

But you won’t have to be, because we’ve got all the receipts. In a manner of speaking. We know when you entered, right down to the second, and we also know how many times you entered. In other words, your name’s not going to appear down below unless it’s supposed to — and the randomised system we use to draw winners thinks you deserve to win.

But first…

Before we get to the winner’s announcements, you should know how the competition draw works. Winner’s names are drawn randomly by a computer that has been fed everyone’s names. Once the name has been drawn, the entry is examined to see whether the question has been answered correctly and, if it hasn’t been, the draw is discarded and a new winner is drawn. That’s it. Unless you work for Stuff Magazine in one way or another, in which case you were disqualified before you even started.

Now that everyone’s up to speed, it’s time to get on with the show.

Our Cubot King Kong Mini winner is:
Robin Peters

And our Cubot P30 winner is:
Andile Xaba

Congratulations to our two winners, who should have emails awaiting them asking for a few more details. For everyone else — stick around. 2020 isn’t done and we’re not done giving things away just yet either.
