A short while back BlackBerry’s upcoming Z10 handset, previously known as the L-series device, leaked via images onto the internet. The handset has just done a repeat performance of that event, via a hands-on video, ahead of the 30 January launch.
Telekom Presse has the hands-on video of the device but the specs, while none too shabby, are not top-of-the-range. The device will apparently feature a dual-core Texas Instruments OMAP 4470 system-on-chip (SoC), 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with expansion available via microSD and a 4.2″ 1,280 x 720 display.
Its dimensions will be 129 x 65 x 8mm, weighing in at 125 grams, and it will be reportedly have a 2100mAh battery. The system specs, while not as good as they could be, are likely tailored for the new BlackBerry 10 OS but we’ll have to wait for the month-end reveal to get a first-hand look at how RIM’s latest performs in the field.
