The Apollo computer was state-of-the-art in its time, but what would have been different if the moon landing had the state-of-the-art computers that are available today?

I suspect that the software development time would have been a lot faster, due to the software development tools that are available today. It would have been a lot quicker to write, debug and test the complex code required to deliver a man to the moon.

How far would you go in order to secure a limited edition… anything? Would you be willing to pay extra? Do something silly on camera? Travel large distances? Yeah, about that last one… Land Rover has an upcoming Range Rover dubbed the Astronaut Edition, a partnership with Virgin Galactic. The catch? You’re going to have to sign up to travel to space if you want one of your very own. 

On March 2, SpaceX launched its first test of an unmanned Dragon vehicle which is designed to carry humans into low Earth orbit and to the International Space Station. If the test is successful, later this year, SpaceX plans to launch American astronauts from United States soil for the first time since 2011.
