That tendency increases if the person you’re sharing that account with is still primary-school age. You don’t have to live in fear of an unexpected animated Disney medley in the middle of your thrash-metal-Thursday outing any more, though — Spotify Kids is here to help. 

Provided your idea of a ‘good’ game extends beyond the annual twitch-shooter (often found on Twitch — funny that), sportsball or  battle royale releases, The Outer Worlds is the best game you’ll run into in 2019. We’re backdating that as well — noting else released this year comes close. 

Those of you suffering from Game of Thrones withdrawal after the Song of Fire and Ice series ended earlier this year can rejoice. There’s hope on the horizon… for viewers, anyway. The cast of newly-confirmed GoT prequel series House of the Dragon may find themselves a little more nervous instead. 

What comes next? How about… getting into the MCU for yourself? Rather than taking acting classes and hoping you get cast, you could just pitch up at VR experience The Void, strap on a backpack and step into Avengers: Damage Control. 

We know it’s unlikely but it’s not that unlikely. Apple’s devices tend to have long lifespans, far longer than most tech does. So it’s not out of the question that some of you are still using an Apple iPhone 5, even though the handset first launched in 2012. The question now is: do you want to keep using it?

Apple’s developed a bit of a tendency of late — everything seems to be going pro. First it was the Macbook, then it was the iPad, followed by the iPhone a few weeks ago. Next up? Apple’s AirPods, in the shape of the newly-announced AirPods Pro. 

The same can be said about Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, if you swap ‘Mediterranean’ for ‘Technology Island’, only the additional systems render this one kinda… lame. As lame as a spec ops operative with a leg wound limping for the treeline while firing a handgun over his shoulder. 

The City of Johannesburg has shut down its website and online services, reporting a cyber-attack following a series of ransom notes sent to the city. The ransom, sent by a group calling itself the Shadow Kill Hackers, is demanding 4.0 bitcoin from City of Joburg.
