Where there’s a Garmin Fenix 9 Pro, there’s probably a Garmin Fenix 9. Images of the latter have leaked ahead of a suspected reveal later today from the sports tech company. Garmin has a ‘Play Harder’ event stream scheduled for 13h00 today (local time). It’s there that the company is expected to officially unveil its latest wearables.
If you don’t want to wait for a sneak peek, you can keep reading. Images of the newest Fenix models — well, one of them — have emerged from the depths of the internet. As expected, Garmin’s premium lineup is looking awfully premium.
Fenix 9 Pro rises
You can also tune into the YouTube stream above at the appointed time, if you want all of the details as they happen. What we know, for now, is that the Fenix 9 Pro has at least three different variants coming. There’s a 43mm casing option, a 47mm, and then a Solar edition in a 47mm casing. The images unearthed by website GameraSnap look to be official product shots, to boot.
The shots suggest that these are supposed to be used on Garmin’s Chinese website, but there’s little reason to expect that the international release will look much different. What isn’t shown is evidence that a previous leak — which suggested the Garmin Fenix 9 Pro will have 47mm and 51mm casings — is correct. There are also supposedly eighteen different variations across the Fenix 9 and Fenix 9 Pro lineup being announced.
There isn’t long to wait for confirmation, either way. All should be revealed shortly after 13h00 this afternoon.
