There was next to no chance that Samsung wouldn’t release a follow-up to last year’s Galaxy A26, but now the company has seemingly confirmed the device by accident. The Galaxy A27 is yet to be announced in an official capacity, or perhaps it was always meant to be unceremoniously unveiled in a random Samsung Brazil article stating which of its devices are compatible with the Samsung Wallet app. Somehow, we don’t think so.
Calling up the A27-Team

It was GalaxyClub (via SamMobile) that first noticed the device’s inclusion. Samsung, apparently, also took notice, because it’s no longer mentioned when visiting the Brazilian site. Still, if an employee is accidentally sticking it into articles, we can’t be all that far from a proper launch. Unfortunately, no specs were mentioned.
That’s fine by us. Only a month ago, details began to emerge about Samsung’s latest Galaxy budget phone. We even got a look at its design in some official-looking renders, courtesy of HotEUDeals and OnLeaks’ Steve H. McFly, which show off the A27’s new punch-hole camera design, as well as some much-slimmer bezels.

We also got a peek at all the usual bits you’d expect to see here, namely the USB-C port, SIM slot, speaker grille fixed to the bottom, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and of course, the three-camera array with an LED flash. The display will be a 67in one, the same as the Galaxy A26. How competent it’ll be, though, we aren’t sure.
It shouldn’t be too much longer before Samsung spills the beans, anyway. The Galaxy A26 was officially unveiled in March 2025, meaning its successor can’t be too far away now, assuming it sticks to the annual schedule. This is Samsung we’re talking about — it’s almost certainly going to stick with the yearly launch.
