The existence of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE suggests the existence of a Galaxy S25 FE, an unannounced ‘affordable’ version of its Galaxy S25 flagships. The device’s existence is also suggested by several recent leaks, including spec details and renders of the upcoming smartphone.
Spotting the S25 FE
Images of the Galaxy S25 FE, in the shape of very official-looking renders, come via German website Winfuture, while spec details appeared thanks to British retailer Tesco. The company listed the phone’s details on its website, briefly, but someone is always watching.
Listed specs may not be wholly accurate, even if Samsung’s leaks generally tend to be spot-on. The new FE’s processor was listed as the Exynos 2400e, the same chipset found in the Galaxy S24 FE. A 6.7in AMOLED display, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of storage were also listed. So far, there’s zero deviation between the S25 FE and last year’s S24 FE.

Well, except for Android 16 out of the box and an increased battery capacity, up to 4,900mAh from 4,700mAh. Charging speeds will climb from 25W for wired refills to a speedy-for-Samsung 45W. Whether that makes up for the new FE using the same camera arrangement as 2024 remains to be seen.
Photography fans will, according to leaks, have a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP 3x telephoto, and a 12MP ultrawide to play with. So far, there’s little reason for anyone who bought one last year to be even vaguely interested in the Galaxy S25 FE, even if there’s a shiny new ‘Icy Blue’ coat of paint coming. For once, we hope the rumours aren’t accurate at all and that Samsung has something better in store.
