It was bound to happen, though the full leak of Samsung’s Galaxy Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE turned up a bit sooner than we expected. Samsung has several phones expected for tomorrow night’s Unpacked, plus (possibly) something very unusual. Three out of (maybe) four have had their reveals spoiled.
If, obviously, the leaks via Roland Quandt on Bluesky are true. They come in the form of a simple graphic comparing the three handsets. While they don’t go down to granular detail, there’s enough present for us to know what to expect from the new Fold and friends.
Surprises seven-Fold
Screen size, storage options, battery, main camera sensor, and colour options are outlined by Quandt’s post, which they claim is “from official Samsung promo materials”. The Galaxy Fold 7 will feature 256GB and 512GB storage variants, a 4,400mAh battery, a 6.5in folded (we assume that means the outer), and an 8in unfolded (internal) display. Colour choices for the Fold 7 include Blue Shadow, Jet Black, and Silver Shadow. Nice to see that Samsung hasn’t given up on its oddball naming convention. A main 200MP camera sensor was also listed.
The Flip 7 retains the 256GB/512GB storage options, has a 4,300mAh battery, and a 50MP main camera sensor. It’ll feature 4.1in folded and 6.9in unfolded displays and arrives in the same shades as its differently-creased sibling.
The Flip 7 FE, based on the name, should be a more affordable take on the foldable. 128GB/256GB storage options and a 4,000mAh battery characterise this handset, though it shares the Flip 7’s screen size and main camera sensor — on paper, at least. It’ll be available in Black and White.
Processor information is mentioned in a follow-up post, though it is unsupported by any graphics. A Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset is expected, and if Samsung proves to be the creature of habit it has been lately, it’ll be a custom-tweaked Samsung version of the chip. Galaxy AI will feature across all three models.
That doesn’t reveal absolutely everything Samsung has in store for us tomorrow night, though there’s enough present that there’s little surprising in store. Check out Stuff‘s website during the July 2025 Unpacked for more complete details about Samsung’s latest foldable smartphones.
