If you’ve heard of Asus before, you probably don’t need us to list reasons why you should consider buying this year’s ROG Strix G16. But we’ve done it anyway because how can we not? Look at this thing.
It might not have the immediate attention-grabbing gargantuan size of its bigger brother, but it’s still pretty chonky for a 16in laptop. We’re not chassis-shaming, that’s a good thing in this case. It allows Asus to stuff in three cooling systems that make sure the ROG Strix G16 doesn’t melt into a puddle.
There are three (3) fans inside that pull cool air in through the sides and base, and push it through the large sandwiched heatsink and vapour chamber. With all the power on offer, it will still get warm, but at least you can put the aloe vera back in the cupboard.
