First Galaxy S23 Ultra leak shows that nothing much is changing next year

You know how, towards the end of the year, sometimes you just know you’re not going to make any significant changes in the coming year? Based on the new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra leak, that must be how the South Korean company feels right now. Honestly, we kinda get it. It’s been a rough few years.

Seriously though, the new Galaxy S23 Ultra leak shows that, on a visual level at least, very little is going to change. As with the Galaxy Fold 4, you’ll spot the differences but only if you’re using a very large magnifying glass.

Spare some change?

Head on over to Stuff‘s Galaxy S22 Ultra review and compare that phone with the image pictured at the top of this article. If you can spot the differences without recourse to the image just below, well done. Your eyes are much sharper than ours. There are some differences but they appear to be very slight. If your smartphone is a fashion statement, then your S22 should be valid for at least another year.

All that’s coming to the Galaxy S23 Ultra, externally at least, are a slight change in the shape of the charging port and some of the camera sensors will be flush now. Oh, and the phone is ever so slightly wider than its predecessor.

Some internal information is known about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. The company is said to be bringing a 200MP camera sensor to market because the one thing people need is larger numbers. Always larger numbers. Anything to avoid the crushing weight of being along with one’s own thoughts, yeah?

The other report is that Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra will feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. That one’s a bit like successfully guessing that Friday follows Thursday, though. Everyone already knows that and only a child thinks it’s an impressive guess.
