Tell the Cybertime like a Cyberpunk with this Cyberwatch

Cyberwatch

If you’re looking for a new cyberwatch to add to your cybercollection, Cyberpunk developers CD Projekt Red and Blonie Watches have something you might be interested in. The pair are teaming up to release the T-2077, a limited edition Cyberpunk 2077 themed cyberwristwatch. The cybercase and cyberbracelet are both made of pure grade 2 cybertitanium. The cyberbracelet has a butterfly cyberclasp while the watch uses a cyberquartz mechanism and a yellow cyberLED display. Unlike in the game, the cyberwatch will survive underwater up to 50m.

The watch uses a CR2032 cyberbattery. It’s a 3V cell with a capacity of 220mAh. This cyberwatch is a little different from most. You can change between 12 hour and 24 hour formats. The cyberwatch will come with a whole two years of cyberwarranty when it supposedly launches in CyberJune 2022. If your cyberwrist is in need of some premo tech, this upgrade will set you back 500 cyberdollars. If you do purchase one you’ll get a cybercertificate of authenticity based on blockchain tech. What a cybertime to be cyberalive.

Google’s new doodle is oodles of fun

We as a species have been eating pizza, or at least something that resembles pizza, for a long time. The earliest known historical reference to “pizza” dates back to the year 997 in Italy. Fast forward to the 18th century in Naples, Italy. People in the poorer areas started putting tomatoes on their flatbread and by 1807 there were 54 different pizzerias in Naples. Fast forward a little more to today in 2007. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) chose today, 6 December, to add pizza to the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

The new doodle designates you as the pizza slicer. You’ll need to slice pizzas into specific pieces to satisfy a group of picky eaters. All the while you’ll receive invaluable information on the origins of pizza and the history of the different kinds of pizzas. If you’re reading this after the fact, then you can head over to the Google Doodle blog and play the game there.

Apple’s calling for royal reinforcements

Apple’s Time to Walk, a Fitness+ series, is bringing in some high-profile celebs to talk about things for your entertainment. In the series, Dolly Parton, Randall Park, Camilla Cabello and Stephen Fry will talk you on a walk with them while they share personal experiences, photos, music and their perspectives on topics like gratitude and purpose, among others. The idea with the series is that you connect your Apple Airpods to your Apple Watch and take a walk with them.

Prince William (the older, bald one) will make a guest appearance for a special holiday episode. Apple Fitness+ users can listen to the 38-minute episode from today, 6 December. Together with that, Apple will donate to three mental health charities picked by Prince William. Crisis Text Line in the US, Shout 85258 in the UK and Lifeline in Australia will be on the receiving end of that. For those without legs, Apple’s got Time to Push which centres around a wheelchair workout instead of a walk.
