Stuff South Africa

In the May 2019 issue of Stuff Magazine

It’s that time of the month again, where the Stuff staff suddenly sprout hair and run off into the night, howling at the… wait a minute, this isn’t our monthly Lycanthropes Anonymous meeting. No, indeed. It’s that time of the month again, where a new issue of Stuff Magazine hits shelves. And for the May 2019 issue of Stuff Magazine, we’re going to do things to your head. Or at least, you’re going to do things to your head. We’re just going to give you loads and loads of options.

That’s correct, our main feature for the May 2019 issue of Stuff is all about sticking things in your head. Specifically those holes on the side, that catch all the sound. Yup, it’s all about headphones, whether you’re particularly fond of in-, on, or over-ears; whether you’re all about that wireless life or you don’t mind a tether, or whether you’re looking to spend big or small, we’ve got all the kit you can possibly want for your ear-holes. Unless you’re, like, really into your gauges right now. Whole different sort of ear-hole, that.

What the deal with 8K? Is that a thing now? Actually, it is, and Samsung’s released one of the first 8K television sets on the market. Stuff‘s May 2019 issue takes a closer, hands-on look at Samsung’s Q900 8K TV set, bearing in mind that there isn’t much call for 8K video… pretty much anywhere, yet. But an 8K panel can be useful even if the likes of Netflix and Amazon Prime Video aren’t filming at that resolution on the reg. Can’t it? Find out in the current issue of Stuff Magazine.

Fujifilm’s got a new compact system camera out on the market — the X-T30, the stripped-back successor to the X-T3. And while it may be cheaper and smaller than its beefed-up brother, this versatile, compact shooter will make you more than happy to part with your money. Especially if you’re the sort who wants to take your snapper absolutely everywhere. But enough about this neat little description, find out what we really thought in the May 2019 issue of Stuff Magazine.

You want more? We do too. It’s part of the human condition, unless you’re also partly a lycanthrop-… wait, still not the correct meeting. But ‘more’ is what Stuff Magazine delivers. We’ve tested cameras, headphones, Huawei’s new P30 Pro (just a little bit), turntables, a smart guitar and an even smarter Porsche. And that’s before we get into apps, games, password managers, upgrades for your existing tech, and the ever-popular Top 10 lists. There’s something for everyone in the May 2019 issue of Stuff. Find yours wherever magazines are sold, today.
