Now you’ll be able to ruin friendships even if you don’t own a Nintendo console of any kind. How, you ask? Nintendo’s mobile Mario Kart will be available on Android and iOS before March this year.
Mario Kart’s mobile version, Mario Kart Tour, was announced early in 2018 on the Nintendo US Twitter account. Nintendo said at the time that development had started and that the game would be available by March 2019.

Mario Kart Tour mobile
We don’t know much more at this stage, but we’re expecting an announcement soon, given the timeline mentioned in the tweet. Either way, Mario Kart Tour will come to smartphones this year, and it’s expected to be one of the most popular mobile games of the year. Because, well, it’s Mario Kart.
The first Super Mario Kart launched in 1992 on the SNES system. In 1996, Nintendo rolled out a revamped version of Mario Kart for N64. This variant, dubbed Super Mario Kart 64, was the second-best selling game of that year, surpassed only by Super Mario 64.
Mario Kart Tour might prove to be just as loved by the community, and will be available on both Android and iOS. We’re expecting a March release date at the latest if they stick to the mentioned timeline.
