The future of VR looks to be a very bright one, especially for Oculus VR, the company behind the Oculus Rift, arguably the king of virtual reality.
Just a couple of months after the company was acquired by Facebook, Oculus VR has announced its first-ever developer’s conference yesterday, called Oculus Connect.
Slated to start run during 19-20 September 2014, the conference’s focus will be to “bring together engineers, designers, and creatives from around the world to share and collaborate in the interest of creating the best virtual reality experiences possible.”
The conference will have the Oculus VR’s CTO John Carmack, founder Palmer Luckey, CEO Brendan Iribe and Chief Scientist Michael Abrash as some of the key-note speakers along with some unveilings of “upcoming Oculus technology”.
We will be sure to keep you updated when the conference goes live, but for now, at least, the future of VR certainly seems to be a bright one.
