Tomb Raider fans, particularly those who were especially keen on the recent reboot of the series, are going to be very, very pleased in 2015. Next year will see the launch of Rise of the Tomb Raider, the sequel to the recent restart of the title. A trailer previewing what we can expect from the younger Lara Croft was premiered at this year’s E3 convention.
It’s probably a good idea for you to check out the trailer yourself but it looks like the climbing axe and bow will be making a reappearance. We’re holding on for some actual gameplay but that might be revealed later this week. We hope.

Also on the cards is a sequel to an older Tomb Raider game, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. The original game was a departure for the series, being an isometric co-operative game rather than a single player third-person adventure. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris looks to be more of the same fantastic gameplay, though it will be launching on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the PC at an unspecified date. All in all, it’s looking good for Lara and friends.
