Wolfenstein: The New Order is going to be landing in South African stores at the end of this month and, prior to the actual release, developer MachineGames is showing players the ways that objectives can be accomplished while taking on the Nazi war machine in an alternate reality setting where they won World War II.
The objective, as is given in the video above, is fairly standard video game fare – kill everything that moves. But there’s more than one way to dropkick a fictional Nazi, from the Tactile or stealthy route that you will see presented first to the guns-blazing, dual machine gun wielding approach that results in a whole lot of heads, body parts and just plain soldiers exploding on contact.
The choice is left up to the player but there are benefits involved in both tactics. Stealth will let players take their time without being swarmed by enemies (hopefully) while the action-oriented take on the level shown in the video will see players getting to blow up everything indiscriminately. It all depends on how you want protagonist BJ Blazkowicz to spend his time.
Wolfenstein: The New Order is expect to release on all current living room platforms (minus the Wii and Wii U) on 20 May.
