Canon South Africa have announced the dates for the 2013 Canon SA Expo, which will be taking place at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg later this year.

The expo will be free-of-charge, running between 10:00 and 18:00 daily from 29 November to 1 December. The company will have several new additions to the event this year, with the company saying “We are gearing up for our biggest and best Canon SA Expo yet, with the widest range of products on active display. Visitors can expect to be blown away by the show, our products and our guest speakers this year.”

Some of South Africa’s foremost photographers will be hosting speaking sessions, Canon will have interactive displays on the show floor for visitors to explore and live training sessions will also be in evidence. The training sessions will accommodate up to 20 people at a time and visitors “will also be encouraged to ask any related questions they might have with regards to utilising their photographic equipment.” Those keen on the training sessions would do well to bring their own kit along for the day.

Also on the cards is another photography competition, similar to the one seen at Canon’s event last year. Details of the photography comp will be announced at a later stage.
