The specs for Google’s upcoming Nexus 7 tablet, co-developed by Asus, have leaked. Gizmodo Australia claims to have seen a training manual that details the inner workings of the device.
The Nexus 7 7″ tablet will reportedly feature a 1.3 GHz Tegra processor, a 12-core GeForce GPU and 1GB of RAM. Two versions are apparently planned, with storage options of 8GB and 16GB.
The document contains US pricing for the tablets. The 8GB and 16GB versions will be $199 and $249 respectively. The operating system is also given, stating that the Nexus 7 will run Jelly Bean but omitting the version number for the Android OS, which is believed to be 4.1.
