South African gamers are in for a treat but only if they’re quick on the trigger. South African Toys R Us stores will be having a one-day-only special on Nintendo’s Wii U console, dropping the price from the R4K range to R999.
The price drop is apparently for the 32GB Premium console and will be limited to one unit per customer in order to prevent cheap buying up of units for resale. The pricing has been confirmed with the Fourways branch of Toys R Us and there is a store locator on the store’s website which shows which stores are participating.
Tomorrow might just be the best time to buy a Wii U. Stores will be opening their doors at 09:00 tomorrow and there is bound to be a rapid lack of stock so showing up early would be a plan.
