The iOS 6 beta’s revamped App Store has leaked information on the iOS Twitter app, including some of the updates that will be coming. Version 4.3 of Twitter for iPhone will feature improvements almost across the board.
Notifications, interactivity and search functions will all be overhauled. Users will be able to receive push notifications from certain folks they follow and in-app notifications along the lines of Tweetbot’s features. Tweets and images related to “selected events” will be highlighted and content previews will be upgraded.
The Discover tab is also being tweaked and there are a few other changes besides. There is no indication when the update will be available however, it may be soon, it may not. Most bets are on within the next two weeks or so.
