You'll often catch me dreaming of a Wind Waker remaster. Or sleeping. One of the two.

We’re big fans of Logitech at Stuff. Unless we’re talking about its line-up of Pebble mice which tend to fall on their already flat faces. Give us a decent keyboard or a mouse we can actually get a grip on and we’re happy campers. In the case of the Logitech Pebble 2 Combo, we’ve been given the best of one world.  It’s rocking a minimalist yet premium-feeling keyboard that wormed its way onto our desks for the better part of two weeks. We wish we could say the same for the Pebble mouse that came with it. We gave it its…

If you’ve been keeping up you’ve probably noticed WhatsApp’s continually evolving list of updates. It’s not slowing down either, with two new updates wending their way to the messenger over the coming weeks.   One, announced by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg himself, will allow users to keep two accounts running on a single device simultaneously, something we’ve been waiting for since the days of yore. The other – still stuck in beta – could turn your voice notes into self-destructing snippets (but only if you want them to).  Dr. Jekyll would’ve loved this one Rather than lugging around two different phones to…

Robots doing tattoos? People are weird. They’ve had ink painfully pushed into their skin since at least 3351 BCE in what was once a cultural practice but has since evolved into an excuse for people to cover their bodies in Hanzi, Kanji, infinity symbols, and countless mothers’ names. The art of tattooing has fallen to modern-day tattooists, with no two tattoos alike (it’s kinda the point). Blackdot, a new startup in the US, is hoping to change that. It’s designed the “world’s first automatic tattooing device” that’ll tattoo customers with the precision that only a computer could pull off. It…

If you’ve been awaiting a massive glow-up from YouTube, you’re finally getting your wish. Earlier today, YouTube announced that it’ll be rolling out around thirty new features and design changes that’ll make content “easier to use, more fun, and more engaging,” across mobile, web, and TV.  We’re going to give it to you straight. Don’t expect many of the updates to actually fix any of the important stuff like its recommendation algorithm, search results, or spam bots that still plague the comments section to this day. Instead, YouTube’s gone down the easy route, adding some features that aren’t exactly game-changers,…

Musk starts charging for the privilege of using X A year after Musk took the reins on Twitter, now X, and the company is still losing money. We can’t prove that, but we don’t need to. The platform’s decisions over the past twelve months speak for themselves, with the latest headlines coming out from the social media company only confirming our suspicions. We always guessed that if things got desperate enough, X might just charge to use the platform at all.   As of today, new users looking to sign up to X in New Zealand or the Philippines will…

We get it. You’re still working your way through the massive catalogue of GOTY-worthy games. If you’re doing it right, there’s a good chance that you’re about a third of the way through Tears of the Kingdom and haven’t even thought about conquering Jedi Survivor, Spider-Man 2 or Diablo IV. You might want to turn your attention to the latter, especially if you’re missing an Xbox from your life.  Xbox has teamed up with the developers behind Diablo IV to create an exclusive (and we mean exclusive) Xbox Series X “inspired by the forces of evil that threaten the world…

Netflix? Gaming? On a TV? We’ve known about Netflix’s ambitions to bring its library of games to TVs and computers for some time now. It was still just rumoured back in March before the streamer multimedia house confirmed it themselves through a very limited test two months previously. Now, the cloud service is making its way through the US as part of a wider test, allowing subscribers to play games on smart TVs or Chromecasts and the like. The whole idea, according to Netflix’s vice-president of Games, Mike Verdu, is to turn the cloud streaming division into “a value add,”…

Perhaps a tad naively, we jumped into our first EA Sports FC 24 session with bright-eyed enthusiasm, ready to experience something, anything, that would justify EA’s massive breakaway from the FIFA moniker for the first time since 1993. We left dull-eyed, tail tucked between our legs, having experienced a game that felt almost identical to its predecessor.   It’s become the thing to take a giant dump all over EA Sports’ latest effort – and rightfully so – whether it’s Madden, NBA 2K or FIFA. That’s (mostly) EA’s fault for failing to come up with an original idea since Ultimate Team’s…

Stage 2 is back Things are looking up for South Africa. South Africa’s through to the semi-finals, petrol and diesel might be cheaper in November and Eskom left the lights on all through Sunday. Nothing lasts forever though, especially when Eskom is involved. Stage 2 officially returns today, 16 October, from 16:00 until 05:00 on Tuesday morning.   Stage 2 will make a comeback at 16:00 on Tuesday until 05:00 on Wednesday morning, with that pattern set to repeat until further notice according to Eskom. You can thank Eskom’s “stable generation capacity” for the calmer-than-usual schedule, with the state-owned utility working…

Netflix is getting into the retail world (for some reason) Right as Netflix gets out of the DVD rental business, it’s jumping back into the world of physical. Just not in the way you’d expect. The streamer, which is raising prices (again), is officially getting into the retail sector, according to the folks over at Bloomberg. It’ll be opening its own entertainment-focused stores, designed to house merch, live and dining experiences related to Netflix’s inventory of IPs. “We’ve seen how much fans love to immerse themselves in the world of our movies and TV shows, and we’ve been thinking a…
