Last Friday, Microsoft announced that it will be doubling the price for its Xbox Gold subscription service from $60 for a year-long fee to $120 for the same package. Local users will note that this meant a 12-month subscription for Xbox Gold would jump from nearly a grand to nearly two grand. Here’s proof, if ever any more was needed, that COVID-19 continues to batter the movie industry. News has emerged that the much-anticipated Uncharted movie has had its release date kicked to next year. According to a report on Variety, the Uncharted movie, originally slated for release in July of 2021, now has the tentative release date of 11 February 2022. While innovation is something to be praised in game creation, sometimes it’s refreshing to see developers leave it out of the equation when they have a winning formula on their hands. This seems to have been the guiding philosophy for IO Interactive’s approach to Hitman 3; rather than try to reinvent the wheel, or plug in a whole load of unnecessary mechanics, IO has instead refined its stealth kill-box to a lethal degree.
