Five petite Mexican-made robots will land on the moon later this year, in June 2022. This makes up part of a scientific mission called the Colmena project, which plans to take accurate environmental measurements of the extraterrestrial body. The mission of these small, two-wheeled robots is to take “sophisticated measurements” according to Games4You. Cape Town founded Clickatell, has secured $91 million, about R1,4 billion, to further the development of its chat commerce services. It plans to use the cash injection to level up its employees’ skill sets and hire more African engineers for its platforms.  Clickatell offers a communications platform as a service (CPaaS) by enabling commerce via chat platforms, like WhatsApp. It managed to secure a bucketload of capital in its Series C round yesterday. The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) will let the public know this week if it’ll allow Eskom a 20,5% price increase after the utility’s second application. The regulator rejected Eskom’s first application in September 2021. According to the Mail and Guardian, Eskom lodged a multiyear pricing determination (MYPD) ruling following Eskom’s application to have NERSA’s decision to reject their application set aside as unlawful.
