When we think of Resident Evil Requiem, we’re not really thinking of premium wristwatches. Someone in a marketing department somewhere is, though, which is how we’ve got this Hamilton/Resident Evil brand crossover.
Okay, fine, so Capcom might have used the wristwatch models in the upcoming survival horror game. Two watches are coming: Hamilton’s Khaki Field Auto Chrono Resident Evil Requiem LTD Edition, and the American Classic Pan Europ Resident Evil Requiem LTD Edition.
Requiem for a scream

Both of these are preexisting products from Hamilton, reissued in a suitable livery to befit the zombie outbreak. The Khaki Field Auto Chrono is worn by series protagonist Leon S. Kennedy, with this real-life version sporting details that nod toward Leon’s effectiveness in the field.
These include modifications to the physical buttons and crown, meant to evoke Leon’s penchant for shooting things, as well as details in the dial. The most notable feature is the wing pattern, often seen in Resi. Otherwise, it’s just a very military-looking (and expensive) wristwatch.
Hamilton’s H-21 automatic chronograph movement is used, the watch is waterproof up to 100 metres, and the price tag… is high. 1,875 Swiss francs works out to about R38,000 in local money. Oh, and the partnership will see just 2,000 of these go on sale.
FB-I want one of those

The other watch appears on Grace Ashcroft’s wrist. It’s marginally cheaper (1,180 Swiss francs, or R25,000), is also limited to 2,000 units, and uses Hamilton’s H-30 automatic movement. There don’t appear to be many direct game references in this one. Instead, it’s been redesigned to match Grace’s watch in Requiem, giving it a unique look as a Hamilton piece, but nothing that really screams ‘zombies!’. Still, if you’re a superfan in need of Leon or Grace’s accessories, here they are.
