Jsaux’s All-in-one Switch 2 Carry Case is a sturdy, understated travel solution that can hold the console, dock, controllers, cables, games, and even a power bank, making it great value at the roughly R800 asking price. Tough materials and a should strap, if somewhat awkward, only accentuate the deal. Despite the fit issue that puts Jsaux's other customers first, this is still a worthy companion we'd trust to take our Switch 2 anywhere.

Ever since Jsaux tricked out our Nintendo Switch 2 with a tough-as-nails protective case (and a couple of ergonomic grips), we’ve been interested in what else the company could do for our little handheld. A whole lot, apparently, judging by the All-in-one Carry Case that’s housed Nintendo’s hardware for the past few months.
Retailing on the company’s website for $50 (∼R830), Jsaux fills out a relatively sparse market with a product that makes the Switch 2 truly ready for travel. There’s room for just about everything you’d ever need — the console, its dock, a couple of controllers, cables, ten games, and, if you can manage it, a little extra power on the go. That was our experience for the most part, with Jsaux proving its worth as a third-party accessory-maker, and fast.
Strapping?
From the outside, Jsaux’s efforts look rather plain. That’s… a good thing. A modest black bag won’t attract nearly as much attention as something emblazoned with Nintendo’s logo, making it that little bit safer to carry around everywhere. The Jsaux logo is stuck to the four zippers, as well as on the front. It worked for us, anyway.
At 320mm x 210mm x 146mm with a roughly 1kg weight, Jsaux does make this tough to store when the Switch 2 is resting at home, but that all works in our console’s favour. It’s coated in a mixture of Oxford fabric and EVA material that serves to make the carry case feel especially sturdy, and up to the task of defending the Switch 2 and all your little bits. Even better, it stood up to the heat, even when we intentionally over-stuffed the thing.
On its top lies a regular handle, though you’re more likely to use the included strap that attaches itself to two corners of the toughened box. It wasn’t long before we ditched the strap entirely, however, with its corner placement making it particularly awkward to comfortably carry our Switch 2 around the place.
Thinking inside the box
Inside lie two separate compartments. One is for the Switch 2 itself, working to keep that delicate display as safe as possible, while the second houses… everything else. While we had the most success in squeezing everything into the second compartment using the guardrails Jsaux has given, there’s a bit more freedom to be had here.
Each compartment on the bottom shelf includes detachable velcro walls that can be mixed and matched to create the perfect space for your accessories. We had no issue fitting in the Switch 2 Pro Controller, Switch 2 dock, and all its necessary cables. Then there’s the Joy-Con grip, too, leaving just a little room for some physical game boxes. Or, as we mentioned earlier, a power bank for those too-long flights. It’ll suit just about anyone.
We only wish we could say we had the same experience up top. Sure, the compartment meant to hold the most valuable bits of your Switch 2 has more than enough room — and that’s the problem. The company has seemingly designed the nook to best house a Switch 2 adorning its own protective case, rather than the default Switch 2.
The Switch 2 handheld is extremely flat, almost to a fault. You might think that Jsaux’s solution itself would be a little more accommodating, but no. Instead, it throws in two divets on each end that assume the owner’s console is wearing a fatter set of Joy-Cons. If you don’t have one of those, the compartment is certainly a little roomier than we’d like. There’s a velcro strap to help it stay firm, but it does little to stop it from moving left and right.
Still, it’s a relatively easy hiccup to resolve with a few wads of tissue, but one that shouldn’t fall to the consumer. Having said that, however, Jsaux’s carry case efforts are still worth it at this price, despite the company doing its best to put its other customers who happened to drop a cool $30 (∼R530) on another of its products first.
Jsaux All-in-one Switch 2 carry case verdict
A relatively ordinary black box meant to house the Nintendo Switch 2 really shouldn’t have any notches against it, but here we are. Jsaux prioritises those customers who already have some third-party protective case attached — preferably this one — and forces the majority of Switch 2 owners to fend for themselves. Even considering that, the All-in-one Switch 2 carry case is still a worthy contraption that will protect your console from most accidental scratches and the odd bang-up at a price that owners will want to cough up.
