One could say that Lego fans are eating real good of late. But how could they be, when the brick company keeps finding new ways to drain their bank accounts? Last month, it was a Hubble Space Telescope set, shortly followed by a functional Donkey Kong arcade machine. Then it was the Batman Returns Batmobile only last week. Now, Lego has announced yet another Star Wars set — the Executor Super Star Destroyer, its largest yet. Kinda.

With only 6,130 pieces to its name, it’s edged out by a few other Lego sets, even Star Wars ones. But it is the longest Star Wars set ever created, stretching 136cm in length. It’ll dominate whatever shelf space you give it, and rightly. This is modelled after Darth Vader’s personal ship, as seen in the epic Empire Strikes Back.
The set is currently on track to release on 4 October in the States, though an official local listing shouldn’t be too far behind. It carries with it a price of around R12,800 ($800), which is honestly not that bad, considering.

In addition to the ship, the set tacks on a puny little model of the Star Destroyer, “complete with a tiny Millennium Falcon on a 1×1 round tile as a playful nod to the Executor’s colossal proportions.”
As for the minifigures, seven are included. For the first time, all six bounty hunters in the Star Wars universe are assembled in the same set. Boba Fett, Dengar (with a new backpack build), Bossk, IG-88 (featuring a newly-moulded head), 4-LOM, and Zuckuss. The seventh, obviously, is Darth Vader himself. They’ll take their spot on the Executor’s bridge — a minifig-scale scene that comes with the set.
