Bentley, the VW-owned British car maker, has finally confirmed that it will be adding an electric vehicle to its lineup soon. It’s been on the cards for a while, but visual evidence has been difficult to come by. That hasn’t really changed much, but the company has finally shared a teaser image of the upcoming Torcal EV.
Emphasis on ‘teaser’ as it only shows a limited portion of the rear profile, with the iconic Bentley ‘B’ logo and the taillight designs. Everything looks as premium as you’d expect from a car that will likely cost many millions if it’s ever available here.

Along with the image, Bentley also shared a teaser video (embedded above) that puts its lead exterior design manager, Yasu Jordan Sato, in the spotlight as he sketches what we have to assume is the Torcal’s silhouette.
“Built with the craftsmanship and performance that have defined the marque since 1919, the Torcal isn’t just a new name – it’s the beginning of a new era,” reads the caption.
As with Bentley’s previous vehicles, the Torcal is named after a natural landmark, the El Torcal de Antequera rock formation in Spain. It is expected to be revealed on 23 September 2026.
“In the coming weeks, more updates on the Bentley Torcal will be revealed in the build up to the 23 September,” Bentley wrote. “New in concept, yet Bentley to its core, the Torcal carries forward the craftsmanship and performance that have defined the brand since 1919.”
