It’s not often a new mouse gets much attention at Stuff unless it’s either covered in RGB, costs an unholy amount, or is actually in our hands. Logitech’s new leaked ultra-portable mouse is none of those things, and yet, here it is. It trades all that in for the promise of massively increased portability and, we imagine, a reasonable price.
Better than a trackpad?

While Logitech has yet to officially confirm the peripheral, it’s difficult to deny the photographic evidence currently paraded on WinFuture. The outlet shared what seems to be the first images of the as-yet unnamed mouse, which adopts a folding design (like Microsoft’s Surface Arc mouse) that takes things a step further. Where the Surface Arc lies flat, Logitech’s design allows it to be folded up like a clamshell.
Exact dimensions are unknown, but the images shared show us the mouse slipping right into a small pocket. Assuming the model isn’t somewhere over the 7-foot mark, it’ll likely be just as puny in our hands. This way, users can slip the mouse into a bag without thought for what other bits of tech must be sacrificed.

It may look like an old smartphone until you open it up to reveal the mouse’s arched back. It doesn’t appear all that comfortable, but we’re guessing the price might help you overlook that bit. Down the middle sits a portion of “Adaptive Touch Scrolling” plastic that’s essentially a mini trackpad instead of a traditional scroll wheel.
If your first thought was ‘but I have a trackpad’, then perhaps Logitech’s marketing will be enough to sway you. Those who used the tiny new mouse reportedly experienced “22 percent less muscle strain” compared to a traditional track pad. It’s not like we felt much (or any) strain before, but it’s certainly a figure you’ll see plenty of.
