The last time we looked at the UniHertz Titan 2 Elite, we were confined mostly to a visual inspection of what the QWERTY smartphone was packing. Since then, UniHertz has revealed a few more details about its upcoming device. Just a few. Not everything.
That’s because the Elite will be fully unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) at the beginning of March. But, in the meantime, the Chinese company has opted to keep its trickle of information flowing. You know, Hype-Building 101 and all that.
Clash of the Titan 2 Elite
The first part of the phone’s reveal is a quick 360° of the phone, in two different shades. It’s the first time that the back panel is visible. It looks… about how we expected a UniHertz smartphone to, just with fewer sharp corners. There’s a business-like aspect to the phone that’ll suit it to the conference room instead of a workshop.
Elsewhere, the company has promoted its best feature — the QWERTY keyboard. If you’re not interested in that, you’re not interested in this phone. The quick demo shows how the keyboard doubles as a touchpad when you run your thumb over it. It’s not a novel feature — it was in the very first one — but it’s still pretty cool to see.
More concrete specs for the phone remain mysterious. Some details — a MediaTek Dimensity 7300, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage — are suspected. Nothing is confirmed. Yet. Which processor, cameras, and other internal tech live inside the Titan 2 Elite will have to wait for a) the company’s marketing department’s cunning plot to juice up interest, or b) the official MWC 2026 reveal. Whichever comes first.
