A little under three weeks ago, a high-ranking Apple employee leaked that the company would be launching the iPhone 16e. True to their word, we got it a week later. Now, the same employee has once again leaked the company’s next product launch, and we have every reason to believe them again.
In both cases, the mentioned employee was the company’s CEO Tim ‘Big Apple’ Cook. He was right about the iPhone 16e launch, so it’s astronomically likely that he’ll retain his clean record. But what could the world’s largest Fruit Company launch next?
There’s something in the air (and it’s not our hands)

In the video, the words ‘There’s something in the Air’ flash across the screen, with the last word receiving special attention with a big, bold font before being sliced in half by a yet-unknown object.
We sent the video off to our forensic team, who analysed each frame before concluding that there wasn’t enough conclusive evidence, and their best bet is that it’s probably either a refreshed M4-powered MacBook Air range or a new iPad Air. Our money’s on the former.

Bloomberg resident Apple soothsayer Mark Gurman has previously reported that the company is preparing to announce new 13in and 15in models with the company’s latest M4 SoC (system-on-a-chip), further adding credence to Cook’s tease. It also helps that the last time ‘something was in the air’ was around this time last year.
However, Gurman has also previously reported that the Fruit Company was winding down its iPad Air product inventory, which he reckons means a new product is coming. Either way, we won’t have to wait that long to find out. There are only four days left in the week, last time we checked.
