Industry partnerships are nothing new but Halo developer 343 Industries’ agreement with a company called Limbitless Solutions is something a little unusual. Limbitless develops and supplies custom 3D-printed prosthetics to kids that have experienced limb loss. So, of course, a Halo team-up makes perfect sense.
The partnership isn’t new. 343 Industries has been working with the Florida-based company for four years now. What is new, is a set of designs based around Halo Infinite and Halo Reach.
Reach for the stars
The two new prosthetic designs are based on Halo icon Master Chief’s armour from Infinite, as well as Reach‘s Spartan Catherine-B320. These join other designs based on Master Chief’s gear, as well as the Artibiter’s look.

The Catherine-B320 0r Kat prosthetic is particularly special. The character from Halo Reach actually uses a prosthetic limb in-universe, so the design is especially official.
343 Industries isn’t the only gaming company working with Limbitless. Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin’s Creed are also gaming franchises with a foot — or arm — in the door. And support for adult prosthetics, as well as the training required to use them, is also on the way. Which, yes, means you might well wind up getting hold of Johnny Silverhand’s silver hand at some point. It’ll just cost you an arm and/or a leg?
