After announcing the end of its eBucks petrol promotion last month, FNB has confirmed that the promotion will continue to run until the end of December. And it’s thrown a couple more promotions in too. FNB felt that with the ever-rising fuel and petrol costs, it would continue its promotions to help us through these tough times because they are lasting.
Not yet gone and never forgotten
Customers that qualify for eBucks will continue to earn R2/l in eBucks at any Engen stations around the country. This doesn’t just happen automatically – there are a couple of steps to follow. The promotion will run until the end of December. Make sure you’re earning all the eBucks you possibly can.
SLOW Lounge access is making a comeback too after the original plan to end in the middle of October. That’s no longer the case, as eligible customers are receiving unlimited complimentary access to any of the SLOW Airport lounges peppered around SA. As with the petrol promotion, complimentary access to these lounges will be permitted until the end of December. After that, you’ll have to pay to get in like the rest of us.
If you’re planning to travel anywhere before 2022 wraps up, then you might want to give QuickBus a go. FNB customers are entitled to earn 10% of their ticket price back in eBucks. The “catch” here is that tickets need to be booked through the FNB app.

FNB Easy Pay-as-you-use and standard Easy accounts can earn double the regular amount of grocery coupons as long as they shop at Checkers, Usave or Shoprite. Customers with an Aspire account will earn double the usual amount of eBucks at these stores. Finally, Private Banking and Business clients will receive 30% off any purchase when using their Virtual Card at any Shoprite and Checkers outlets. But that will only be the case until the end of 2022.
Over the course of the next three months, 100 random FNB customers that spend their eBucks could win 10x their annual eBucks spend. You can check out the FNB rewards section to find something to use those eBucks on.
